Troopers Host League Games With Evanston Friday Evening / Rockies at Giants Tonight / Two Sheridan Broncs finalists for the Milward Simpson Award

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers are 17-5 as the prepare for two league games at home Friday against Evanston.

That double header will begin a great stretch of games over the next three weeks, they start next week on the road at Jackson and Cody they come back for home games on the 18th with Cody.

We talked with Head coach Ben Phillips following their sweep of the Casper Oilers and he says these are big games with the Outlaws on Friday.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies open a road series at the San Francisco Giants tonight, first pitch at 7:45 you can hear Rockies baseball on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.

MILWARD SIMPSON AWARDS – The annual Milward Simpson award finalists have been announced and two Sheridan Broncs made the cut for consideration for this year’s award, they are Carter McComb and Texas Tanner, both are multiple state champs in track and field and also for the Bronc football team.
