Daniel Lakeman

Daniel Augustus Lakeman always dressed in white, a faithful parishioner of Holy Name Catholic Church, at the age of 92, died on January 20, 2021, of natural causes while in the Veterans Affairs Health Care System. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Jean (Glendenning) Lakeman; 6 children, daughters Carleen (Lakeman) Tucker, Aileen (Lakeman) Butterfield, Dannette (Lakeman) Burnham, MaryJean (Lakeman) Sebens, Shannon (Lakeman) Michalson and son Sean Lakeman; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, his brother William Fifield and family of Virginia along with 13 nephews and nieces. He will always be missed.

A Rosary and Memorial Mass in honor of Daniel will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Holy Name Catholic Church at 11:00am. Father Glenn will be officiating. Inurnment to follow at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
