Patricia Jo Shadrick

Patricia Jo Shadrick, 72, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, in Sheridan, WY, at her home.

Patty was born on November 3, 1952, to parents Jessee Lee and Mary Jo (Small) Bradshaw in Midland, TX. She grew up as an oilfield baby and moved quite frequently with her dad working in the oil fields. From Riverton, Casper, WY, to Anchorage, AK, Houston, Dallas, TX, and Golden, CO to name a few.

She met Rex Shadrick in Sterling, CO, where they eloped and were married on May 31, 1972. They celebrated 52 years together last May. Together they brought Abbiegail Shadrick, and later their grandson Maceo Miles Banyon joined them.

Patty was very easy-going, was carefree, and enjoyed having a good time. She loved visiting with friends, working with her essential oils, and taking care of cats at Second Chance Cat Rescue.  In July 1992, Patty began her journey as a friend of Bill W.  She made many friends and met members all over the world. She was a great inspiration to many that she met and had 32 years of her life changed on this journey.  

Patty is survived by her husband, Rex Shadrick of Sheridan, WY, daughter Abbiegail Shadrick (Mark) of Eugene, OR, grandson Maceo Miles Banyon of Eugene, OR, sisters Paulette (Dwane) Frost of Roswell, NM, Paula (Douglas) Chivers of Riverton, WY and Katherine Burt of Palestine, TX,   her niece Natalie Byrd, and nephews Kirk Justin Bradshaw, Kirk Chivers, Jeff Chivers, Rodney Frost and Tracey Frost.    She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Christine Peck-Jones.

A Celebration of Life is at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Bethesda Worship Center with Pastor Scott Lee officiating with a reception to follow. Please use the parking lot on the East side of the church.
