Trudy Lynn Lance passed away peacefully from natural causes on Thursday, March 30, 2023, in Casper, Wyoming.

She was born on September 24, 1950, in Thermopolis, Wyoming. Trudy was the daughter of Truman Marzette and Doreen “Dode” Dickeson. She is survived by her children Elgan Wade Lance and Jami Lynn Lance, grandchildren Jesse Lance and Rosemary Lance, and siblings Jo Cook and Truman Dickeson Jr.

Trudy was in the graduating “Bobcat” class of ’69 in Thermopolis, Wyoming, and loved her yearly trips with her girlfriends, the “Fab Five”, from childhood. She was proud to be of the ’60s generation and loved the music from that time. “Trud” was always telling stories and gloating about the bands she saw live, like The Beatles. She had a green thumb, loved crafts, and had quality time in the kitchen. The family always looked forward to her Christmas goodies. Trudy loved to travel, especially to the Pacific Ocean. Her family and friends have wonderful memories of the amazing adventures shared with her.

She worked as a CNA in various homes and facilities throughout Wyoming. Trudy was a very caring and nurturing person and was loved dearly by her clients. Her loved ones will always remember Trudy for her compassion and creativity. Her children, Wade and Jami, would like to thank all family and friends for their love, support, and assistance through this time. To quote Trudy’s favorite Beatle, George Harrison, “Sail me on a silver sun, where I know that I am free.”
