Troopers Baseball at Gillette Tomorrow / All Star Hoops Open Practice Today / Rockies fall at Miami

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers have been looking for offense all season last week they got it going scoring 71 runs in four victories Head coach Ben Phillips says they hit well and got some help too.

The Troopers open league play tomorrow night in Gillette and Phillips says the Rough Riders pitch well so the trooper pitchers are going to have to keep them in the game to give them a chance to be successful.

The Troops play two at home Friday night against a team from Fargo, North Dakota that double header will start at 5:30, Saturday they host the 406 Flyers from Billings starting at 1:00.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies lost at the Miami Marlins 6-2 they play again this evening first pitch at 5:10 on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.

ALL STAR HOOPS – The Wyoming high school all star basketball teams practice today for the first time as they prepare to take on the Montana team in series that tips off Friday night here in Sheridan. Practice today will be at the Hoffman dome at 12:30 and 2:00.

Game times in the Dome Friday are at 5:30 and 7:30 you can hear them live on 14-10 KWYO.

TRAIL RUN – The 2021 Big Horn Mountain Trail run is back pre race registration starts next Thursday, the 100 mile race starts the morning of the 18th and the shorter events start on Saturday the 19th with the finish for all the races in Scott Park in Dayton.
