Details are being finalized for a visit to Wyoming by former President Donald Trump, the Wyoming Republican Party announced Monday (March 7th).
In a fundraising email sent Monday, state Republican Party chairman Frank Eathorne said Trump had committed to visiting Wyoming “in the next few months.”
“The President’s arrival comes at a time when more than ever, Republican members must be united,” Eathorne said in the email. “Selfish swampy insiders are trying to divide Wyoming Republicans and get us to abandon our conservative values.”
Wyoming Republican Party chairwoman Kathy Russell confirmed that Trump would be visiting, but said exact details on where or when the former president would appear were not yet available.
“Details are being firmed up but we will get word out as soon as possible,” she said.
Trump has endorsed congressional candidate Harriet Hageman in her campaign against U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney in the Republican primary for Wyoming’s lone U.S. House seat.
He has also been vocal about his dislike for Cheney, who voted to impeach Trump last year following the riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Prior to her impeachment vote, Cheney voted with Trump on more than 90% of the issues facing Congress.
Trump has also expressed interest in the workings of the Wyoming Legislature during this legislative session, putting his support behind a bill that would prevent voters from changing their political party affiliation in an effort to change the outcome of primary elections.
“This critically important bill ensures that the voters in each party will separately choose their nominees for the General Election, which is how it should be! It makes total sense that only Democrats vote in the Democrat primary and only Republicans vote in the Republican primary,” he said. “This bill has my Complete and Total Endorsement and Support. Every Member of the Wyoming Senate should vote for SF0097. Thank you!”
Trump has floated the possibility of running for president again in time for the 2024 presidential election, but has not officially declared his intent.

OMG! This should produce a flurry of “Orange Man Bad” messages on this board from the usual suspects. I do hope these Trump haters are satisfied with all the wonderful things their latest hero (Biden) is doing for our country: shutting down our energy production and buying dirty oil from Putin; encouraging more and more “migrants” to bull rush our border; leaving Americans stranded in places like Afghanistan; and ramping up another swell “Iran deal.” But, at least we don’t have to put up with those nasty “orange man” tweets and crude remarks! So, now, have at it, folks. Please do treat us to more “Trump was a dictator” posts. Those are so well thought out and wonderfully reasoned!

this is no time to be concerned with Donald Trump. All eyes should be focused on Ukraine and the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding there.

I understood that he was visiting Putin in Russia.
I hope it’s a one way ticket since Trump praised Putin the day he invade Ukraine.

And Hillary arranged for 20% of American uranium to be sold to Comrade Putin. So, who is it that turned out to be “Putin’s puppet?”

Mr.Jones we didn’t vote for the $7.00 per gallon gas. Thanks to Putin for invading Ukraine we have to pay the much and most likely more. The previous president of the USA was a Putin supporter and look what he did on 1-6-2021. Now if you believe that the last election was rigged then you, along with all the others, should just except the fact that it was a fair and righteous election. LIVE WITH IT!!!!!

Gary Daniels, when Trump was president, gasoline was 1.89 here in Wyoming. After Bloody Hands Biden shut down oil drilling in America, and stopped the XL Pipeline and offshore drilling, on his first day in office, he raised the price of gasoline to at least 3.50 a gallon. Then, he started buying 8% of our oil from Communist Russia, even after Putin invaded Ukraine. Don’t be brainwashed by the Democratic/
Socialist Party.
