cvannoyAt a board luncheon on Tuesday, February 15, the Sheridan County School District No. 2 Board of Trustees unanimously approved revisions to the standard board meeting agenda format. The changes move the District/Superintendent Reports section of the agenda closer to the beginning of the meeting, following approval of the agenda. The adjustment also moves Audience Comments closer to the end of the meeting, after the Board has heard presentations and conducted its regular business.
“The rationale is simple,” said Board Chair Sue Wilson. “Much of the business conducted by the board and the presentations we hear at board meetings are highly relevant to the comments our audience members are making.”
“We want to make sure that our audience members have all of the relevant information when they participate in audience comments,” said Wilson. “Participating in a full board agenda will provide this valuable information to all in attendance.” The agenda changes will go into effect at the regular board meeting on March 7, 2022.
