Wyoming High School Graduation Rates Increase For 8th Year In A Row

New numbers released by the Wyoming Department of Education show that more high school students are getting their diplomas.
The Department says the state graduation rate for the 2020-2021 school year was at 82.4%.
That’s up from 82.3% the school year before.
Numbers-wise about 240 more students graduated state-wide in 2021, compared to 2020.
The numbers for the 2020-2021 school year marks the 8th year in a row that the state-wide graduation rate has increased.
The rate for the 2012-2013 school year was at 77.6%.
As far as each individual school goes, Sheridan High School’s graduation rate was at 87.9% which is up from 81.8%.
Big Horn’s rate was at 90%, which is down from 94.6%.
Tongue River’s rate was at 80.5%, which is down from 100%.
Buffalo was at 86.7%, which is up from 82.1%.
Arvada-Clearmont and Kaycee High Schools had a 100% graduation rate for the 2020-2021 school year.
