Most people who have hunted or fished in Wyoming are familiar with the requirement of purchasing a conservation stamp yearly to accompany their license. Up until recently, the item was a literal stamp that would be carried with the person into the field and now that has changed to where it will be printed onto the license itself. Wyoming Game and Fish Department Sheridan Region Public Information Specialist Tina Schmidt explained that the conservation stamps can only be purchased online.

Schmidt said that they have also worked out a way for those that may keep the yearly stamps, to continue their collection.

Conservation stamps are valid for 12 months after the purchase and they cost $12.50. To learn more or purchase a stamp, follow this link https://wgfd.wyo.gov/apply-or-buy.
