Buffalo Council Approves YMCA Lease Agreement

The Buffalo City Council discussed a lease agreement between the city and the Johnson County Family YMCA for use of the city-owned building they occupy.

According to Mayor Shane Schrader, the lease agreement is for a 10-year term, and for a lease payment of $10 per month.

Some requests from the YMCA were not added to the agreement, and no changes were made from previous agreements, according to City Attorney Ben Kirven.

The council voted to approve the lease agreement with the YMCA.
