Ron RichterWyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney earlier this week spoke at the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources oversight hearing on the Federal Coal Program. During the hearing, Cheney introduced Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon’s Chief Energy Adviser Randall Luthi, and touted the importance of the coal industry in terms of reliability, affordability and energy security.
Representative Cheney questioned Luthi on the reclamation process in Wyoming.
Luthi said that leaves only 46,000 acres of active disturbance at this time so he’s very pleased with the way reclamation is going in Wyoming.
