Pat BlairTwo Sheridan County employees were recognized for their service during Tuesday’s meeting of Sheridan County commissioners.
Commission Chair Nick Siddle made the presentations.
Recognitions were given to Clint Beaver, a deputy county attorney, and Cory Main, a detention corporation with the county sheriff’s office. Both have been employed by the county for five years.
In other action Tuesday, commissioners turned their attention to several public hearings dealing with liquor licenses.
Commissioners transferred a restaurant liquor license for 2020-2021 from Merc Pizza LLC doing business as Big Horn Mercantile to Big Horn Merc Pizza LLC doing business as Big Horn Mercantile and, in separate action, renewed the license for the 2021-2022 year.
Commissioners also renewed retail liquor licenses for the coming year to county guest ranches, Eaton Ranch and The Ranch at Ucross. In addition, retail liquor licenses were renewed for the coming year to 17 bars and other establishments in the county including the Brinton Museum, the Big Horn Equestrian Center and the Wagon Box and Tunnel inns in Story.
