Tutt Construction receives bid for high school bleachers

Tutt Construction Inc. of Billings has been awarded the bid for new bleachers at Sheridan High School.

Sheridan County School District 2 trustees awarded the bid at their meeting earlier this week. Assistant Superintendent Scott Stults said the bleachers are to replace the portable bleachers currently on the east and west ends of the gymnasium.

Stults said the new bleachers will be moved by means of a motorized device. He said they can be easily moved by one or two people as compared to three or four people who have to move the current bleachers.

He said the new bleachers will be much safer and much more secure than those currently in use.

Total bid for the project was $147,400. That amount includes delivery and installation of the new bleachers.
