Council to Consider Ordinance Requesting Rezone of Property

The Sheridan City Council will be considering a request from Lane Vanderhoef and Rae Bridger to rezone 429 square feet from a B-1 Business District to a R-1 Residence District on property located at 612 1st Avenue West and the property directly adjacent to the west that is unaddressed. The Council received an update on the request from City Community Development Director Wade Sanner at a recent study session.

Sanner said staff is recommending that Council approve the rezone request. There will be a public hearing on the rezone and subsequent consideration by the Council of first reading of the ordinance at the upcoming City Council meeting Monday night.
