Schools dismiss early for parent/teacher meetings

Schools in Sheridan County School District 2, which is Sheridan and Story, will dismiss early next Thursday for parent/teacher conferences.

The district will host the conferences on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Elementary schools will be dismissed Thursday at 12:35 p.m. Sheridan Junior High School, The Wright Place and John C. Schiffer Collaborative School will be dismissed at 1:10 p.m. that day, and Sheridan High School at 1:15 p.m.

In addition, school district officials said there will be no school next Friday, Oct. 30. Classes will resume on Monday, Nov. 2.
