Wish I would have known about this…would have entered. I play chess on the computer all the time, but it’s not the same as playing people. Was wondering if there are any more upcoming chess tournaments in Sheridan this year. I’m still a work in progress but feel I could learn a lot and get better by playing in some of these. Computer chess is fun, but after a while you start to see a pattern and are basically just playing the same games over and over.

The sheridan chess club is going to take a break of it’s normal weakly schedule, and will resume in fall. But we will have some pickup events during the summer. Just watch our Facebook page (Sheridan Chess Association), and website http://www.sheridanchess.com
