Schroeder said that if the City Council approves the cooperative agreement, City staff will put together a Request for Qualifications for the Joint Land Use Plan Update project and that City and County staff will jointly select a consultant for the project and negotiate the project scope and cost.

According to information from the City, final approval of the selected consultant’s scope and cost will be brought forward for approval by the Council. The City’s responsibility will be two-thirds of the project cost while the County will be responsible for one-third of the project cost. The cooperative agreement will be considered by the City Council at an upcoming business meeting.
