The Brinton Museum Communications Director Jacob Ruleaux recently invited the community to attend a gallery talk and book signing with award-winning picture-book illustrator Zak Pullen. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 7, at The Brinton Museum.

The informal gallery talk is presented in conjunction with the Brinton Museum’s exhibition “Zak Pullen: 21st Illustrator Show.” During the event, Pullen will share insights into his creative process and discuss how he builds story through illustration while highlighting original works featured in the exhibition, including pieces from “The Christmas Ass” and “A Home for Steamboat.” Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artist following the talk. His books will also be available for purchase in the museum store.

The exhibition features original illustrations from “The Christmas Ass” and “A Home for Steamboat,” along with additional works showcasing Pullen’s character-driven style. Ruleaux told listeners of Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse that each piece is a vibrant work of art.
