The Wyoming Arts Council has released the 2020 Wyoming Road Trip Playlist

The 2020 Wyoming Road Trip Playlist includes 24 Wyoming artists from many genres of music, representing a wide variety from the Wyoming independent music scene.

From the country rock sounds of Southern Fryed to the jazz of Lora Sherrodd, the storytelling in Sarah Sample’s lyrics to the alternative pop vibes of Ryan Hayes, artists submitted their music to the Wyoming Arts Council in order to be selected.  Artists were required to have their music streaming on Spotify before being selected for the playlist.

To ensure unbiased selection, songs were selected by Alana Rolfe, Assistant General Manager of the Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Bellvue, CO. 

Selection for the next year’s edition of the Wyoming Road Trip Playlist will begin sometime next spring, according to Taylor Craig, creative arts specialist with the Wyoming Arts Council. 

During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Craig informed listeners and musicians of the best strategy to be a hopeful for the 2021 Wyoming Road Trip Playlist.
