Bots Sots sale starts Saturday night

Ike Sankey’s Bots Sots Remount sale starts at 4 p.m. Saturday with over 40 horses going under the gavel at the Trail Inn State Historic Site in Sheridan.

Sankey said this will be the fourth year for the event, which celebrates the tradition of horses and horsemanship in Sheridan County.

The event opened with a “soft” preview of the sale horses Friday at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds and will continue with a preview of the horses at 10 a.m. Saturday, also at the fairgrounds.
