The SCSD#1 Board of Trustees met on Tuesday, April 15, at the main office in Ranchester.

The board recognized the Tongue River Girls Basketball team’s back-to-back state wins.

Head Coach Amanda Cummins talked about her team. She first thanked the board for taking the time to celebrate the students accomplishments.

She added that there was great community support for the team, and she said that at the State Tournament she saw several community members who did not have students on the team. “I think that’s huge.” She also felt there was good support from the parents, who also set a good example for the students.
