AHCC Reports Increase in Number of Residents

Director of Nursing for the Amie Holt Care Center (AHCC) Brenda Gorm, in her report to the hospital board this month, said the census for the care center is sitting at 32 residents, with commitments for two more patients to join soon.

She reported issues with retaining some staff members.

She was asked about the upcoming “Senior Prom,” which was held every spring before COVID.

Gorm said the care center gets the decorations that were used for the BHS prom to be re-used for their prom.

There will be a selection of ball gowns and volunteers to help with hair styling and makeup.

The dietary department is excited to provide refreshments, Dr. Schueler will provide live music for the event and Lana Wing Photography will take care of photos of the senior prom.
