Jo Co Commission Sets 2025 One Percent Allocation Amount

Johnson County’s Commissioners, at their regular meeting Tuesday, set their allocation for the One Percent Committee for 2025.

The commission considered setting this year’s allocation to the same level from 2024 at $175,000 but Chairman Bill Novotny had some concerns based on tax collections and happenings at this year’s legislative session.

After some discussion the commission voted to allocate $100,000 to the One Percent Committee for distribution in 2025, down $75,000 from last year’s allocation.
