The Faith Scholarship offered through the Sheridan County YMCA was introduced in January of 2022. It is a $1,000 scholarship offered to any student of an institution of higher learning – including trade schools and certificate programs.
There are no academic requirements to qualify for the scholarship. The only requirements are based on expanding faith.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan County YMCA Executive Director Liz Cassiday informed listeners of the requirements one must meet to qualify for this $1,000.

The scholarship qualifications look to expand the student’s knowledge and understanding of the many diverse religious practices and faith.
