Wyoming State Parks Site Superintendent Sharie Shada made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to talk about a new program at the Fort Phil Kearny Historic Site that will put visitors in the shoes or boots of someone from the past.

According to Shada, the new program “Character Walk” will explore life at the fort through the eyes of someone who once called it home.

The Character Walk will begin at 6:30 p.m. July 19. Cost is $4 admission,  and visitors will meet in the Visitor’s Center. Guests will be assigned a real person from the fort’s history and take a tour through that person’s view.
