Repairs to Margo’s Mural to Begin Next Week

Repairs to the city-owned mural on the side of the Margo’s Pottery Building in downtown Buffalo will begin on July 15, according to City Building Inspector Terry Asay.

He told the city council at their last meeting that he had been given an update from artists Aaron and Jenny Wuerker, who along with Marchel Kelley were approved by the council earlier this spring and are contracted to do the repairs for

a minimum bid of $5,510 and a maximum bid of $9,345.

Asay also discussed the city’s land use plan and permits issued by his department during the fiscal year ending June 30.

Asay said the 14 new home building permits issued in Buffalo this year mirrored what was issued in the previous year for new home starts.
