TRHS Graduation Held

The Tongue River High School graduation was held on Friday evening, May 24 in the Tongue River High School gym. A large crowd gathered to watch the ceremony. Eighteen of the seniors had been together since kindergarten at Tongue River Schools.

Caleb Kilbride, Senior Class President, welcomed the audience.

TRHS Principal Colby Lynch introduced the graduates who achieved honors over the school year. Also mentioned in the graduation brochure as honored graduates were Caleb Kilbride, Lamar Charlson, Cole Kukuchka, Liam O’Harra and Madison Rosenlund.

Kenote speaker was Coach C.J. Scholl, who told a few stories, thanked the administration, and then he advised the graduates.

He had one of his friends join him on stage to demonstrate how someone has his back, and how important a support system is for overcoming fear.

There was a slide show of the graduates, and the flower presentation, where the graduates presented their parents or guardians with a flower.

Tassels were turned and hats were tossed in the air and graduates are now looking towards the next finish line.
