The Sheridan City Council met for their second regular business meeting of May Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Story House Rezone Ordinance

Second reading of ordinance 2278, a request from Story House Property Company to rezone 44.8 acres of property located at 2323 East 5th Street in Sheridan from B-2 to a Planned Unit Development was an item of consideration at the Council meeting. The initial second reading of the ordinance was tabled by the City Council at the March 18 meeting. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer said one of the five variances requested by the developer pertains to road width.

The City Council, by a vote of 4 to 2, approved the ordinance on second reading with the road width variance from 39 feet to 36 feet. Councilors Andrew Patceg and Kristen Jennings voted against the ordinance. We’ll have more from the Council meeting in future stories.

If you want Sheridan to become Bozeman, you should go visit the human anthill and see how miserable it is to drive there.
Keep all streets one size, so there is no dispute over the park no park rules they proposed.
