cvannoyOn Thursday, April 11, Sheridan College held their annual High School Art Intensive. This art intensive gives students across the area the opportunity to see and experience hands-on learning with the art department at SC.

She added that there is a new addition this year, and one can hear the music in the background.
The Art Intensive hosted around 150 students that come from schools in the Sheridan area, as well as from Buffalo, Basin, Worland, Gillette and Broadus, Montana.
Rachael Anderson, assistant professor of sculpture at Sheridan college explained more about what they do at the Intensive.
Brooklynn Boggess is first year art student at Sheridan College, who is majoring in Fine Arts. She was one of the participants as a high school student.
Another student, who is in the theater arts class, talked about his experiences in Sheridan College.
Madison Lloyd, is from Littleton, Colorado, and she is majoring in graphic design at Sheridan College.
Kate Ruland, Art teacher from Powder River County District High School in Broadus, Montana, brought 20 students for the Art Intensive, and talked about their experience. She said she had done the Art Intensive one other time when she taught at a different school but,
She added that she told them they had to try everything that is available. She said that any teacher who has the chance to bring students to the Art Intensive, they should. She added that some of the students feel they may choose Sheridan College when they graduate from Boardus.
The Art Intensive is a way to give the students a look at all disciplines in art and gives them a chance to see what Sheridan College offers to youngsters interested in pursuing art as a career.
