Ron RichterThird and final reading of an ordinance to annex five tracts of land into the City of Sheridan is an item that will be considered at Monday night’s regular City Council meeting. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer said that the request for the annexations was brought forward by officials with Sheridan County.
The properties that will be annexed if the ordinance is approved Monday night are 447 Canfield Street, 1305 Leopard Street, a tract of land adjacent to property addressed as 1872 Fairway Lane, and 1738 and 1814 KROE Lane.
The City Council will also be considering an amendment to the agreement with Wyoming Regional EMS that would slightly raise the monthly payment amount the City pays to Wyoming Regional to provide ambulance and EMS services in the City. The Council meeting will take place Monday night at 7 in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
