There was a special announcement at the monthly Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Luncheon on Wednesday, April 10, held at the Historic Sheridan Inn. Chamber CEO Dixie Johnson prefaced the announcement saying that two chamber members, Kaylin McKinley and Teresa Detimore recently celebrated their anniversaries as a part of the chamber staff. McKinley celebrated 15 years and Detimore celebrated her first year.

Johnson referenced an article that McKinley and Detimore wrote in the April 6 issue of the Sheridan Press titled Fresh Eyes vs. Seasoned Insights,

Grammens had this to say about the collaboration.

He added that when someone posts an event on the site, it will go to all of the sites.

Jacobson added,

He had a slide show demonstrating how easy it was to add an event onto the calendar.

The article by McKinley and Detimore also foreshadowed the Wednesday, April 10 chamber luncheon program which was titled From Y to Z: The ABC’s of Attracting and Retaining Young Professionals, and the six-person panel shared several insights of being a Gen Y or Gen Z professional in Sheridan. That story will be posted on Sheridan Media tomorrow.
