Settlement Agreement

The Sheridan City Council recently approved a settlement agreement between the City and Schreiber, LLC, Moxey Schreiber Veterinary Hospital. The property at issue is located at 1650 Commercial Avenue in Sheridan in the Sheridan Commercial Park Subdivision. The property is owned by Schreiber, LLC, and Moxey Schreiber Veterinary Hospital operates on the property. Prior to the Council’s consideration of the agreement, City Attorney Brad Thimmesch provided some background on what led to the settlement agreement and mutual general release.

Thimmesch said as a result, the parties negotiated an agreement where the City will pay Schreiber $38,360, which is one half of the cost to install a new service line on the property and additional water drainage remediation. The agreement releases the City of any future liabilities related to the new service line and water drainage on the property.
