Ron RichterGeneral Purpose Excise Tax allocations for fiscal year 2025 will be considered by the Sheridan City Council at their regular business meeting Monday night. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger says there are 20 requests from various local agencies that are on the consent agenda for the meeting.
The Council will also be appointing a new council member to fill the vacancy that resulted from Shawn Day’s resignation from the governing body last month. The City Council interviewed the eight applicants for the position at a recent study session.
The Council will also be considering the second reading of ordinance 2278, Story House Property Company rezone request of 44.8 acres from B-2 to Planned Unit Development. The meeting will take place Monday night at 7 in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
