Historical Society to Offer Talk on Early Bison Sports

The Johnson County Historical Society will present a discussion on Buffalo High School Bison sports from 1908 through WWII.

Richard Kendall will talk about the early days of Bison football and basketball, how sports writing has changed, how the rules and methods of the game play have changed.

Kendall will also feature some of the stars of early Buffalo Bison sports.

The presentation will be Monday, October 23 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Johnson County Library’s Twing Room.

The event is open to all and free to attend.
