City Eyeing the Purchase of Two Police Pursuit Vehicles

The City of Sheridan may soon add to their fleet of police pursuit vehicles. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

The Sheridan City Council will be considering a staff recommendation to purchase two 2023 Dodge Durango Police Pursuit Vehicles. Sheridan Police Chief Travis Koltiska said the Police Department sent out a Request for Bids for the two vehicles to maintain the department’s fleet on June 30 and July 6, with a bid opening scheduled for July 13.

The City Council will consider the bid award to Young Automotive Group from Layton, Utah in the amount of $83,790 at their regularly scheduled business meeting Tuesday night.
