JCHC Board Discusses New Provider Coming This Fall

The Hospital Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center were given an update on the new healthcare provider that will be starting later this year.

Dr. Mark Schueler, reporting in place of Chief of Staff Dr. Jennifer Rice, talked about the new doctor and who he will be replacing.

CEO Luke Senden said Dr. Gonzales and the facility are both open to him remaining available should he be needed.

Schueler also said the facility is tolerating construction well, with it being more of an issue in the clinic than in the hospital.

He said they are looking forward to getting into the new area of the hospital that is currently still under construction with some repair work yet to be completed.
