During their last regular meeting the Buffalo City Council considered approval of Mayor Shane Schrader’s recommendation for approval of Michael Hanson to the Kaycee-Buffalo-Johnson County Economic Development Joint Powers Board.

No discussion was had by the council before the vote for approval.

Hanson will serve a three-year term on the board.

The KBJ Economic Development Joint Powers Board, according to the JOCO First website, serves as the economic development entity for the participating agencies to foster collaboration in the recruitment, due-diligence, facilitation, placement, construction and operation of facilities which further the economic and community development of Johnson County.
