Ron RichterIn mid April, the Downtown Sheridan Association announced that the weekly Sheridan Farmers Market would be put on pause this year due to the Main Street Construction project. An alternative plan has been hatched by a different organization. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The weekly Farmers Market will now be taking place at Whitney Commons beginning next month. North Main Association Executive Director Nancy Drummond talks about how they came to the conclusion to have the Farmers Market at a different location.
Drummond explains what kinds of vendors they are looking for and how many.
Once again, the North Main Association will be holding the weekly Farmers Market beginning Thursday, June 15 and running through September 14, 5 to 7 pm at Whitney Commons. Drummond said the fee for a booth will be $15 each Thursday and that anyone interested in being a vendor or sponsor can contact her for more information at 307-751-3863.

Great choice. I would really hope to keep it there in the future.
