Ron RichterApproval of a funding program to help defray the costs of fire prevention for businesses in downtown Sheridan will be an item of consideration for the Sheridan City Council at their meeting Monday night. Mayor Rich Bridger provided the details of the incentive program that is being proposed.
A memorandum of understanding funding agreement between the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Sheridan for a marketing campaign focused on the businesses affected by the Main Street construction project will be considered by the City Council.
The City Council will also be considering a number of ordinances on third and final reading along with awarding the bids for asbestos abatement and demolition and cleanup of the Cook Ford Building at 103 North Gould Street. The Council meeting will take place Monday night at 7 in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
