Sheridan Commission to Consider Agreement for Grant

Sheridan County’s Commissioners, at their meeting Tuesday, will consider a grant award between the county and the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security for the 2022 Hazardous Materials Emergency Planning Grant.

Other items on the agenda include consideration of the 2023 Wildland Fire Management Annual Operating Plan; consideration of the Memorandum of Understanding on the distribution of Opioid settlement funds; consideration of the Uhing Easement Vacation; and consideration of a few Retail Liquor License renewals.

They will also ratify an MOU on the Greater Sage Grouse Plan, a Good Neighbor Agreement and a law enforcement annual operation and financial plan with the Bighorn National Forest.

The meeting will get underway ay 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Second Floor Board Room, #220, in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.
