Ron RichterThe City of Sheridan may soon be entering into an agreement with a number of other communities in Wyoming for an opioid settlement agreement. City Attorney Brendon Kerns recently provided details of the agreement to the Mayor and City Council at a council study session.
Kerns said the State has to have a memorandum of agreement with the local agencies approved by April 18. The agreement will be an item of consideration for the Sheridan City Council at their upcoming business meeting Monday night. The exact amount the City and County would receive from the settlement has yet to be determined.
