Sheridan City, County Offering Sandbags Ahead of Spring Thaw

Sheridan County and the City of Sheridan will be offering self-fill sandbag stations for residents to help protect their properties from flooding during the approaching warmer weather.
In a release from Sheridan County Emergency Management, the self-fill sites will have empty sandbags and sand, and were listed as Sheridan County Fairgrounds; the City of Sheridan Service Center; the Fire Halls in Story and Big Horn; the Sheridan County shop; the Ranchester Town Hall; and Dayton Town Shop.
Residents using the sand and bags are reminded to bring their own gear such as a shovel and gloves.
