City of Buffalo Extends Green Waste Collection

Larry Joubert, sitting in for Buffalo City Works Director Les Hook, reported to the city council that the city will extend the collection of green waste through the end of November because there are still a lot of leaves being collected by city residents.
The collection bins are located at Prosinski Park.
Joubert also said that contractors are currently trying to work through the punch list items on the city’s Fetterman and Flatiron projects.
He was asked by the council about the Main Street Alleyways Project and he said it is ready to go out to bid.
According to Mayor Shane Schrader, the project will upgrade the alleyways in the downtown corridor behind Main Street, to redo them in concrete.
The project is for improved traffic in the area in preparation for the WYDOT Buffalo Main Street Project coming in 2024.
