Buffalo, Kaycee Blood Screenings Start Feb. 5th
The annual Buffalo/Kaycee Community Blood Screenings will begin next week in Kaycee and continue the following week in Buffalo, in preparation for the Health Fair scheduled in March.
Blood draws will be Wednesday, February 5th and Thursday, February 6th from 7 to 9am at the Kaycee Clinic, and again Monday, February 10th through Friday, February 14th at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Buffalo.
Results from the blood draws can be picked up at the annual Health Fair on Saturday, March 21st from 9 to noon at the fairgrounds.
Wyoming Health Fairs recommends fasting for 12 hours prior to the blood draw unless diabetic, drinking plenty of water, and taking medications as usual.
Many types of wellness screenings can be done from the blood draws, and more information can be found on the WHF website.
