Aaron PalmerBarry Crago, attorney for the Johnson County Rural Health Care District Board, gave a written opinion to the board concerning an executive session held by the board during a recent meeting that some were concerned may have been illegal.
Crago explained his position during this week’s board meeting in Kaycee.
The issue stemmed from the board’s decision to split the medical director’s duties and contract into two separate agreements with different directors for Buffalo and Kaycee.
Dr. Mark Schueler will continue to act as the medical director for Buffalo EMS and Dr. Luke Goddard will now be the medical director for Kaycee Ambulance.
Crago’s written opinion will be added into the minutes of the meeting.
