The Sheridan County Commission has ratified an amendment to the agreement between the county and Ridgepoint Consulting, LLC for contract administration services on the Rapid Creek Culvert Replacement Project.

The amendment details the duties of Ridgepoint Consulting to provide contruction administration and sets the fees they will receive.

The original contract amount was for just over $33,000 and with the amendment amount with increased responsibilities adding nearly $20,000 to the contract, the adjusted contract amount will be roughly $53,000.

According to the bid documents, the county intends to replace the existing arch culvert with a new precast box culvert at the Rapid Creek crossing location to increase the hydraulic capacity and efficiency of the drainage conveyance.

In addition to the new drainage structure, the project will include removal of several large trees; minor re-routing of Rapid Creek upstream of the new drainage conveyance; fence removal and replacement; machine placed riprap and associated roadway restoration.

Substantial Completion for the Project is scheduled for October 16, 2020.
