When it comes to picking Wyoming election winners, I think I have a pretty track record. But there are others who are uncanny with their abilities.  Steve Peck of the Riverton Ranger comes to mind.

Thus, I am launching the Cowboy State Daily 2020 election contest.  Let’s see who really knows Wyoming and knows how to pick winners. Besides bragging rights, I will send the winner one of my coffee table books.

The contest is simple.

We have six races plus a tie breaker.

Election quiz for 2020: Please mark winners

National race:Donald Trump (R)               ____
Joe Biden (D)                       ____

U.S. Senate (WY)Cynthia Lummis         (R)    ____
Merav Ben-David (D)          ____

U. S. House (WY)Liz Cheney (R)                    ____
Lynnette Grey Bull (D)       ____

Cheyenne Senate District 6Anthony Bouchard (R)        ____
Britney Wallesch (D)           ____
Riverton House District 55Ember Oakley (R)                ____
Bethany Baldes (L)              ____

Laramie House District 45Roxie Hensley (R)               ____
Karlee Provenza (D)            ____

Tie breaker:  How many votes will be unofficially cast for president in Wyoming in 2020: ________.  (In 2016, the total was 248,945)

Note: If Trump-Biden goes to court, we will not count that presidential result as we want to know right away who wins this contest.

This is a fun election contest, and what a great prize. I would have no way of winning as I live in Sheridan County and know nothing about the people of Cheyenne, Laramie or Riverton who are running for office.
