Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

STATE SWIMMING / DIVING – The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers finished their season in 8th place at the state championships.

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs lost at Cheyenne East in the semi finals 31-21 was the final east scored to late first half touchdowns to take a 24-7 lead at halftime but the Broncs couldn’t get closer than 10 points the rest of the way,

T-Birds Quarterback Graedyn Buell was a force and the Broncs just couldn’t find the answers to slow him down here’s Head coach Jeff Mowry.

But Mowry was proud of the Broncs for playing as tough as they did.

And finally with all the issues presented by the pandemic Mowry says it was just nice to be able to play the season.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys had this week’s game with the Air Force canceled because of a CIVID outbreak at the Academy,

The game will not be made up, the Cowboys now are set to play at home on Thursday the 19th against Utah state

HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks swept two games at Butte, Montana winning 8-1 and 13-3 they are at home this week hosting Bozeman Friday and Saturday night they drop the puck both nights at 6:30.
