State Cross Country Today / Conference Swimming / Diving and High School Football

STATE X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams will run today at their state championships in Casper the Broncs are the defending state champs the girls championship is set to start at 1:00 with the boys to go at 1:40.

CONFERENCE SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers compete in their conference meet in Gillette the prelims start this afternoon with the finals set to get underway tomorrow morning at 9:00.

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs host Thunder Basin tonight the First Federal bank and trust pregame show starts at 5:30 with kickoff at 6:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

Broncs Head coach Jeff Mowry says the Broncs have a tough customer tonight as Thunder Basin has one of the best offensive units in 4-A and it starts with senior running back Jaxon Pikula.

But the Broncs will counter with the number one ranked defense in the state.

And finally Jeff says the Broncs must stay focused on the task at hand and that is a chance to get a home playoff game next week.

RAMS / EAGLES FOOTBALL – The Big Horn Rams and Tongue River Eagles close out the regular the Rams play at Upton / Sundance tonight while the Eagles host Glenrock this afternoon.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming Cowboy football season opener will have the Pokes playing at Nevada tomorrow night you can hear the game live on KWYO and 106.9 FM Cowboy pregame at 4:00 with will kickoff at 5:00.

BRONCOS FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos host Kansas City Sunday afternoon the game will kickoff at 2:25 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
