Bryce Child Of Sheridan HS To Play Soccer At LCCC: A Sheridan High School Soccer Senior will get to play at the collegiate level in front of more of his family.
Bryce Child has signed a written offer of athletic aid to compete at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne.
He says he was born in the capital city, is familiar with the area and has family there that have not seen him play.
Child adds he was impressed with the team culture at LCCC and explains what it was that impressed the coaches.
Child says he is considering majoring in business.
College Soccer is a fall sport, and Laramie County CC went 8-5-2 this past season.
Sheridan HS Boys Basketball: The Sheridan High School Broncs dropped their first game of the season this past weekend at Laramie.
Head Coach Jeff Martini explains what went wrong and what the team needs to learn from it.
The Broncs play tomorrow at Campbell County and are at home Saturday vs. Thunder Basin.
The start times for the Saturday’s games have been pushed back by 2 hours.
The girls game now starts at 1:30pm and the boys at around 3.
For Thunder Basin, they ended up getting the weird draw of the schedule, as Saturday’s game will be their first conference road game, after playing every other conference opponent at home.
University of Wyoming Basketball: The Wyoming Cowgirls won last night at San Jose State 77-64.
The ladies scored 54 of their points in the paint and shot 55% for the game.
Five Cowgirls scored in double figures.
Malene Pedersen led the way with 20 points, while Allyson Fertig put in 16.
McKinley Dickerson scored 13 and Tess Barnes and Kati Ollilainen put in 10 points each.
UW is now 12-9 on the season with a 6-3 record in the Mountain West Conference.
The ladies next play Saturday at home vs. Boise State.
Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets lost last night at New York 122-112.
The Nuggets next play tomorrow at Philadelphia and Saturday at Charlotte.
